Suspension
Lifting the bound person partly or fully off the ground with ropes or chains. Partial suspension might be just lifting their arms overhead tied to a hook so they’re on tiptoes, or having their chest harness attached overhead so they’re partly supported. Full suspension is both feet off ground – very advanced; you must know proper shibari techniques to avoid injury. Suspensions are dangerous (nerve damage risk), so don’t attempt without training or an expert present. But the feeling of weightlessness and complete surrender can be a huge fetish for some.
